Our Career Centre will assist you in finding a suitable candidate who has been educated outside the EU.
The IPVZ Career Centre will introduce you to the basic principles of employing non-EU foreigners in the Czech Republic with a focus on the healthcare sector. We are also able to provide you with information on obtaining valid residence permits for foreigners and will draw your attention to the relevant important obligations towards the state authorities. Our foreign students of the Czech language and recent graduates of the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education (IPVZ) are your potential employees. Let them gain positive experience of working in the Czech Republic and get a quality employee.

The performance of professional practice
Are you looking for new employees? Put their skills and expertise to the test by completing an internship at your healthcare facility. The completion of professional practice in the Czech Republic without recognition of competence for the purpose of acquiring professional or practical experience is also one of the conditions for admission to the aptitude test. You are thus giving a chance to a foreign worker to advance on his/her way to obtain employment in his/her field in the Czech Republic. Permission to practice is issued by the Ministry of Health on the basis of an invitation from the healthcare facility where the practice will take place under professional supervision.

Employment of foreign nationals in the healthcare sector
There is a growing interest in foreign workers in the Czech Republic. Despite all the possible pitfalls, employing foreigners is very profitable. One of the biggest obstacles is the demanding and, above all, very lengthy procedure for obtaining a work permit. For foreigners coming from outside the EU, employers wait three to four months. Government economic migration programmes can help speed up this process. However, the experience of employers has clearly shown that waiting for quality workers from abroad certainly makes sense. It is proven that they have a significantly lower turnover rate. When employing foreigners, it is very important to follow the steps of the process.
